Mediatrix Studios · Transit Hop

Gameplay

Tap the left side of the screen to hop to the left, and the right side to hop to the right. Your craft moves vertically depending on the track your craft is on. Your only job is timing your hops to dodge cops, collect coins and powerups, and stay on the track. Avoid hitting the track boundaries. The longer you survive, the faster it gets.
A mission is the target score for each level. Attain this score and aim higher to unlock the next level.
Gems are the premium currency in Transit Hop. You can collect them during a game run or acquire them through ads and in-app purchase from the store. Use gems to unlock powerful crafts, craft skins and upgrade your craft in the garage.
Power-ups appear on the track during a game run. Fly through them to activate them instantly. Here is what each one does:
  • Magnet Pulls nearby coins towards you automatically.
  • Shield Absorbs hits from cops and lets you take them out.
  • Multiplier Doubles the value of each coin picked.
A few things that help at higher speeds:
  1. Focus on grabbing as many coins as possible. This determines your score for the mission.
  2. Be strategic and plan your moves. Stay off the track boundaries as much as possible.
  3. Check the fuel meter and pick up fuel when necessary.
  4. Prioritise grabbing the timer in lap mode. More time equals more score.
  5. Use the Magnet to hoover up coins without risking tight hops.
  6. Use your Shield to take out cops and earn double points.
  7. Double your effort with fewer hops using the multiplier.
  8. Pick up gems to earn in-game currency for craft upgrades.
  9. Reinvigorate your craft 3 times max per play session using gems or by watching ads.

Purchases

All purchases are handled through the Google Play billing system. For refunds, you'll need to submit a request through Google Play directly. Go to play.google.com › Order History and select the transaction. Google's standard refund window is 48 hours from purchase. If you're having trouble, feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Make sure you are signed into the same Google Play Games account you used in making the original purchase. The game automatically reinstates your.
  1. Level data and scores.
  2. Crafts, skins and upgrades.
  3. Your gems count is stored in your device and can't be reinstated if your app data is cleared or your phone is lost. This data is stored within your phone for now!
If items still don't appear, email us and we'll sort it out.
We recommend enabling Google Play's built-in purchase approval. To set it up:
  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon › SettingsFamily.
  3. Turn on "Require authentication for purchases" or set up Family controls.
This requires a password or biometric for every purchase, preventing unintended transactions.

Technical

Most crash and freeze issues are resolved by these steps in order:
  1. Force-close the app and reopen it.
  2. Check for a game update in the Play Store — we often patch known issues quickly.
  3. Restart your device to clear memory.
If the problem persists, please email us with your device model and Android version so we can investigate.
Performance issues are usually caused by background apps competing for memory. Try closing other apps before launching Transit Hop. If your device is more than four years old, performance on higher-speed levels may be limited. We are always optimising to support a broader range of hardware, check for update in the store.
First, check that your device is not on silent or "Do Not Disturb" mode. Then on the main menu verify that Sound button is toggled on. If the problem continues after restarting the app, please let us know your device and OS version.
Transit Hop currently requires Android 11 (Red Velvet Cake) or higher. We optimise for a wide range of devices, but recommend at least 2 GB RAM for the smoothest experience. An iOS version is not yet available.

Account & Data

We currently do not collect any form of user data.
On your Android device, go to Settings › Google › Ads and either reset your Advertising ID or toggle "Opt out of Ads Personalisation". This applies across all apps on your device that use the Google Ads framework.

Our full End User License Agreement is available at mediatrixstudios.com/eula. By installing and playing any of our games, you agree to its terms.
Yes, we actively encourage it! You're welcome to create gameplay videos, streams, fan art, and other content based on our games for personal, non-commercial use. Just don't claim it as an official Mediatrix Studios product, and don't monetise it in a way that competes with the game itself. If you're unsure, drop us a message.
